Erika Wambolt has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Erika is currently the Director MS&T Commercial at Insmed Incorporated, a position they began in 2022. Prior to their time at Shire Pharmaceuticals, Erika was employed at Schering-Plough as the Manager of Worldwide Technical Services, overseeing drug product technology transfer between manufacturing sites globally. Erika began their career at Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Scientist and later served as a Manager of Clinical Manufacturing.

Erika Wambolt obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Connecticut from 1982 to 1987. Subsequently, they pursued a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the University of Cincinnati, completing their studies from 1989 to 1994.
