Monika Ciesielska

Monika Ciesielska has a strong background in biostatistics and has held various leadership roles in major pharmaceutical companies. Monika is currently working as the Senior Director of Biostatistics at Insmed Incorporated since November 2018. Prior to that, they were with Teva Pharmaceuticals from 2011 to 2018, where they served as the Head of Global Medical Affairs and Observational Studies Statistics. In this role, they managed a global team of statisticians and played a key role in the design and execution of post-authorization safety studies and statistical activities for respiratory and digital inhaler development programs. Before joining Teva Pharmaceuticals, Monika worked at Pfizer from 2001 to 2010 as an Associate Director. Monika contributed to the successful registration and submission of several drugs to worldwide authorities and collaborated with various departments on clinical trial design and analysis. Monika also has significant academic experience, serving in roles in the mathematics and statistics departments at West Virginia University and the University of Louisville.

Monika Ciesielska has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Mathematics from Bowling Green State University. Monika has also pursued further education in Bayesian Statistics through Continuing Professional Education. In addition, Monika Ciesielska has a background in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Warsaw. Monika furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Statistics from West Virginia University.
