Silas Riss

Silas Riss is currently a Research Internship in Technologies & Platforms at InSphero since March 2023. Prior to this, Silas was a Research assistant at ETH Zurich in the Responsive Biomedical Systems Lab from September 2022 to January 2023. Silas has completed a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at ETH Zurich and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedizin at the University of Zurich. Silas has been involved in various projects such as developing a vessel-on-a-chip system and studying the effect of microplastics on the human vasculature. Through these experiences, Silas has gained hands-on experience in a variety of technical skills related to biofabrication and biomedical research.
