Julian Mitchell

Julian Mitchell is currently the CEO of InspiraFarms, starting in January 2021. Prior to this, they had several roles at M-KOPA Solar, including Managing Director - Uganda from January 2015 to June 2020, A/Chief Credit Officer from January 2018 to April 2019, and Managing Director - Kenya from January 2016 to December 2018. Julian also worked as the Director Call & Credit Operations at M-KOPA Solar from April 2015 to December 2015. Before joining M-KOPA Solar, Julian Mitchell was the Head of Cards at afb from September 2012 to March 2015. Julian began their career in the British Army, serving in various roles from 2002 to 2012, including JARIC - Head of Geospatial Analysis and Troop Commander roles in the Royal Engineers. Julian Mitchell holds an MSc in Defence Geographic Information from Cranfield.

Julian Mitchell obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Defence Geospatial Information from Cranfield University spanning from 2006 to 2007.
