Matthew Deiters

Matthew Deiters is an experienced product leader in technology, currently serving as Director of Product for the Instacart App since 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing key consumer experiences. Prior to Instacart, Matthew held the role of Director at Cruise, leading teams focused on HD Maps, ML/AI Data, and Human-in-the-Loop platforms from 2016 to 2021. As the Founder and CEO of Assembly Made from 2012 to 2016, Matthew created a social collaboration platform that allowed contributors to co-create web and mobile products. Additionally, previous positions include Product Engineering Leader at McKinsey & Company and Senior Software Engineer at ThoughtWorks. Matthew began their career as a Software Engineer at TicketsNow and U.S. Bank. Matthew's educational background includes participation in Y Combinator from 2011 to 2012.
