Prateek S. has a diverse range of work experience in the design field. Prateek is currently working as a Staff Product Designer at Instawork since October 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Design Mentor at adplist.org, where they mentored other designers and contributed to improving their careers.
From 2020 to 2022, Prateek worked as a Senior Manager - Product Design at ZEE5, where they led a data-driven redesign of the core Video Player experience and created the ZEE5 Design System. Prateek also redesigned the Subscription journey based on user insights.
Before that, they worked as a Design Mentor at Springboard from June 2020 to February 2022. Prateek also gained experience as an Assistant Manager - Product Design at BookMyShow, where they focused on improving the cancellation journey, customer journey mapping, and contributed to the Design System implementation.
Earlier in their career, Prateek worked as a Product Designer at Gemini Solutions Pvt Ltd from August 2014 to December 2019, where they designed an award-winning app for an insurance company. Prateek also worked as a UI/UX Designer at Effect Labs from April 2013 to July 2014, where they handled end-to-end project responsibilities and developed backend and front-end code.
Prateek S. completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Motivational Pathway, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they obtained several certifications in various fields. In 2019, they completed the certification course "Design Thinking - Upholding User Needs & Aspirations for Innovation" from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. In 2018, they obtained certifications in "USER EXPERIENCE: THE BEGINNER'S GUIDE," "Become a UX Designer from Scratch," "HUMAN-COMPUTER INTERACTION - HCI," and "WEB DESIGN FOR USABILITY" from the Interaction Design Foundation (IDF). In 2017, they completed the certification course "Customer Discovery" from the Quantic School of Business and Technology. Recently, in 2022, they obtained certifications in "Persuading Others," "UX Deep Dive: Usability Testing," and "UX Research: Journey Mapping" from LinkedIn.
