Rolwin Dsouza

Rolwin Dsouza has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Rolwin started their career as a Finance and Marketing Intern at Shell in October 2021, where they successfully marketed Shell lubricants through promotion, advertising, and discounting.

In October 2021, Rolwin also joined Gift of Time Foundation as a Research Analyst. During their time there, they conducted primary and secondary research, performed quantitative and qualitative analysis, and utilized advanced Excel skills for data processing. Additionally, they utilized their content creation skills to establish a successful Instagram page, @psychologyfacts.kannada, which gained a follower base of over 85k people. Rolwin also analyzed demand for content and implemented strategies for content and digital marketing.

Prior to these roles, Rolwin worked as a Content Creator - Psychology Facts at Instagram from March 2020 to December 2022. Rolwin developed engaging and informative content related to psychology.

Before their Instagram role, Rolwin was a Graduate Trainee at Kotak Life from October 2022 to April 2023. During this time, they learned about team handling, the development of partners and financial advisors, and developed skills in presenting and communicating effectively. Rolwin also gained experience in working under pressure and meeting targets. Key responsibilities included writing professional emails, sourcing investment products, providing benefit illustrations to customers, and promoting the brand while motivating team members, partners, and financial advisors.

Most recently, in April 2023, Rolwin joined Instawork as a Data Operations Analyst.

Rolwin Dsouza completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Professional Industry integrated/Investment/Finance and Marketing/Accounts and Taxation at St. Aloysius College in Mangalore from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Pre-University Certificate (PUC) in Business/Commerce and Computer Science from Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwar Educational Society in Ujire from 2018 to 2019. From 2010 to 2017, Rolwin attended Sacred Heart Primary and High School in Hirebyle, where they completed their primary and high school education from 4th to 10th grade. Rolwin also attended Prabodhini Vidya Kendra in Kalasa-Chikmagalur for 1st to 3rd grade, although the specific time frame is not provided.
