Willys Cantenys

Willys Cantenys is a Psychiatrist at Hôpitaux Universitaires Pitié Salpêtrière - Charles Foix (APHP) and a Scientific Researcher at the Institut du Cerveau – Paris Brain Institute since June 2020. At the Paris Brain Institute, Willys Cantenys has focused on the neurocognitive mechanisms of ketamine in depressive patients and has conducted research on belief updating mechanisms in the brain, employing formal approaches like Bayesianism. Additionally, research on PTSD and Terror Management Theory was conducted during the period from June 2020 to December 2022. Academically, Willys Cantenys holds a Master of Science in Cognitive Science from Ecole normale supérieure, a DIU in philosophy of psychiatry, and is pursuing an MD in Medicine and a Master’s degree in Human Biology from Université Paris-Est Créteil.
