Hellen Daghero Villanueva

Hellen Daghero Villanueva is a dedicated researcher and educator in the field of cell biology, currently serving as a PhD student in the Cell Biology Unit at Institut Pasteur Montevideo, alongside a teaching role at Universidad ORT Uruguay since March 2022. With extensive experience at Institut Pasteur Montevideo since July 2015, Hellen has held various positions including Research Assistant and Masters Student. Prior experience includes a technical specialist role at Maciel Hospital Central Laboratory, an R&D assistant position in tumor biology at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of the Republic, and an internship focused on microbiological analysis at the City Food Regulatory Service. Hellen's academic journey includes a current PhD in Biology with a focus on molecular and cell biology, a Master of Science in cellular and molecular biology, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in clinical biochemistry from Universidad de la República.
