Research Fellow - Mega-sporting Events at Institute for Human Rights and Business

Lucy Amis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human rights and sport. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor for Mega-Sporting Events at the Centre for Sport and Human Rights since January 2020, Lucy also holds the position of Special Advisor. Since June 2011, Lucy has contributed as a Research Fellow focused on Mega-Sporting Events at the Institute for Human Rights and Business. Previously, Lucy worked as a Child Rights and Sport Specialist at UNICEF UK from December 2016 to March 2021, and served as the Business & Human Rights Programme Manager and Senior Advisor at the International Business Leaders Forum from 2000 to 2009. Early in the career, Lucy was a Human Rights & Arms Researcher at EIRIS between December 1998 and August 2000. Lucy holds an MSc (Econ) in Political Science and Government from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
