Darren Jones

Darren Jones has extensive work experience in the education sector. Darren is currently the Vice Principal at the Institute of Applied Technology. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Secondary at GEMS Founders School - Al Mizhar and Al Dhafra Private Academy. Darren also held the position of Head of Science at St. Joseph's Int. - Malaysia and Head of Group 4 Science - IBDP at Amman Baccalureate School. Darren started their career as a Teacher of Chemistry and Science at St Martin's School. Throughout their career, Darren has implemented various innovative strategies to enhance student performance and academic success.

Darren Jones completed their education in the following chronological order:

- From 2000 to 2004, they obtained a Masters in Chemistry from the University of Wales, Swansea.

- In 2005 and 2006, they pursued a Postgraduate Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and a Post Graduate Certificate in Secondary Education and Teaching from Swansea Metropolitan University.

- Returning to the University of Wales, Swansea in 2000 to 2004, they achieved a Master of Science - MS in Chemistry.

- Lastly, from 2011 to 2013, they earned a Masters in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Edgehill University.
