Jonathan Hanson

Jonathan Hanson is a seasoned professional in the field of geology and earth science, currently serving as a Science Operations Specialist and Acting GeoNet Data Team Leader at GNS Science since January 2017. In addition, Jonathan has held the role of Practicals and Collections Manager at the University of Bristol since October 2015, where responsibilities include managing practicals for the School, supervising students and technicians, and overseeing laboratory and field operations. Jonathan's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Bristol, a Master’s Degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, and a Bachelor’s Degree from McGill University.
