Sean Fox

Sean Fox joined the Institution in October 2017 initially responsible for finance and commercial but has also assumed responsibility for IT and the digital modernisation programme, and digital marketing.

After completing his first degree at Oxford, in Physics, Sean became a chartered accountant, qualifying with the top 6 firm, BDO. He has experience with large corporates (Nestle, Marks & Spencer, Tate & Lyle), a family owned business, and at the Institute of Physics.

His wide experience in financial and commercial roles, as well as his professional membership body experience at the IOP, gives Sean a highly relevant perspective on his current role. He has a strong belief in the motivation and engagement of people being the key to long-term success, a belief which is equally applicable to staff and members.
