Alberto Matamoros Marquez

Alberto Matamoros Marquez has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Alberto currently serves as the Corporate Operational Excellence Associate Director at Insud Pharma, where they define and executes the operational model for multiple sites. Prior to this, they were the Corporate Continuous Improvement Director/COO at CL Grupo Industrial, responsible for implementing the operational model and driving the continuous improvement culture for the North Area. Alberto has also worked as an Industrial Director/Business Transformation Director at Sherpa Capital Gestion, where they played a crucial role in supply chain redesign and cost savings initiatives. Alberto has experience as a Senior Manager Consultant at EFESO, leading teams and implementing operational excellence programs for different sectors and companies. During their tenure at Procter & Gamble, Alberto held various roles, including IWS Leader (Operational Excellence), Operations Department Manager, and Project Manager, where they achieved significant productivity improvements and managed department budgets. Additionally, they gained engineering experience through internships at TMB, CODIFESA, and P&G.

Alberto Matamoros Marquez has a diverse educational background. In 1999, they obtained an Industrial Engineering Degree from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Throughout their career, they have pursued various professional certifications, including Change and Transition Management, Strategy Development & Deployment, Managing Organizations, Leadership Skills, Capital Management Skills, Quality Assurance Key Elements, and Change Management Leadership. In terms of formal education, Alberto attended the IESE Business School in 2014-2015 for a PDD (Management Development Program). Alberto also completed a Postgrado en Desarrollo del Talento en las Organizaciones at the Universitat de Barcelona in 2013-2014 and a Postgrado en 'Coaching en el entorno laboral' at the same university in 2011. Alberto acquired additional skills in Effective Communication through a course at Dale Carnegie in 2012 and Executive English at Esade in 2010. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Dirección Financiera y Control de Gestión at the EAE Business School from 2021 to 2023.
