Josee Onofrio

Josee Onofrio has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. Josee began their career in 1992 at The Hartford, where they held various roles including Business Systems Analyst, Quality Assurance Tool Engineer, and Underwriting Support Manager. In 2013, they joined FirstBest Systems, Inc. as a Business Analyst. Josee then moved to iPipeline fka Aplifi in 2014, where they worked as a Senior Systems Analyst. In 2014, they joined Team Focus as a Business Analyst II. Finally, in 2016, they joined InsurePay as the Vice President of Business Analysis. In this role, they have leveraged their experience with workers' compensation pay-as-you-go billing to create system documentation, participate in new carrier and payroll provider onboarding, and provide customer support. Josee also serves as a subject matter expert for the workers' compensation insurance line of business.

Josee Onofrio obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Comparative and Laboratory Animal Medicine from Quinnipiac University between 1979 and 1983. Josee then went on to obtain a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter from The Institutes fka Insurance Institute of America (IIA) between 1989 and 1997. In 2021, Josee Onofrio obtained a Pragmatic Certified Product Manager, PMC Level I, and PMC Level II from Pragmatic Institute. Josee also holds a CPCU, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter certification.
