Paul Henriques

Paul Henriques has a diverse work experience in the field of IT security and risk management. Paul currently holds the position of Sr. Director IT Security & Risk Management at AdaptHealth since January 2020.

Prior to this, Paul has worked at various companies, including Intarcia Therapeutics, Inc., where they held the roles of Director, Third Party Security from January 2017 and Director Information Security Risk & Governance from January 2018 to October 2018.

From February 2019 to April 2023, Paul worked as the Director of Security and Compliance - CISO at ABB OPTICAL GROUP.

Before that, they worked at CVS Health as an Advisor Information Governance & Privacy Operations from October 2013 to January 2017, and as a Manager Information Security Risk Management from August 2012 to October 2013.

Additionally, Paul has experience with Bank of America, where they served as a Senior Vice President - Information Technology Risk Management from July 2011 to August 2012.

Paul also worked at RBS Citizens as a Sr. Intelligence Officer - Vice President from July 2009 to July 2011, and at Citizens Bank as an Information Technology Risk Manager - Vice President from October 2005 to July 2009.

Finally, Paul started their career at RBS as an Audit Supervisor - Vice President from August 2001 to October 2005.

Paul Henriques has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from Johnson & Wales University. Additionally, they have an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Community College of Rhode Island.

In terms of certifications, Paul obtained a CISA certification (Certified Information Systems Auditor) from ISACA in October 2009, and a CFE certification (Certified Fraud Examiner) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in March 2011. Paul also holds multiple certifications related to database administration, including Oracle 8 Backup and Recovery, Oracle8 Network Administration, Oracle 8 Database Administration, SQL & PL/SQL, and System Administrator for Microsoft SQL. Moreover, Paul has certifications in security administration, such as Security and Audit of CICS and DB2 from ISACA Rhode Island, and Security Administration from HRIZONS. Lastly, they have certifications in various operating systems, including Solaris Admin Essentials from Sun Micro Systems Inc, HP-UX 10.X System Admin for HP 9000 from HP, and Unix Fundamentals from Integrated Technologies, Inc. Paul received these certifications between 1995 and 2009, with specific months and years varying depending on the certification.
