Shahram Negari

Shahram Negari, PhD, PE has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Shahram is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Integrated Power Services, starting this role in 2022. Prior to this, Shahram worked as the Senior Manager of Engineering for Energy Transition & Grid Services at umlaut company from 2021 to 2022. In this role, they successfully delivered various multidisciplinary projects in electrification, eMobility, and energy transition.

From 2009 to 2021, Shahram worked at Techno Expert Corp. as the Engineering Director (NAM). During their tenure, they led and completed numerous medium voltage and high voltage power systems and transmission projects in North and South America. Shahram also played a key role in seeking new customers and accounts at important events, promoting the company's business objectives. Additionally, Shahram was responsible for leading and managing multi-disciplinary engineering activities to maintain work standards, meet timelines and budgets, and achieve quality assurance targets.

From 1992 to 2008, Shahram held various roles at Fan Generator Industrial Group, a licensee of Siemens AG, Germany. Their roles included VP of Engineering & Operations, Engineering Manager, and Technical Manager. As VP of Engineering & Operations, they oversaw operations at three facilities with over 300 employees. Shahram managed various product lines, including overhaul and rewinding of large power-plant-scale generators, high voltage induction motors, and power transformers. Shahram also collaborated on joint projects with renowned companies such as Ansaldo Energia, GE, GM, Siemens, ABB, Alstom, Weir Pumps, Matter & Platt, and others.

Throughout their career, Shahram Negari, PhD, PE has demonstrated expertise in engineering, project management, and leadership, contributing to the successful execution of projects in the power sector.

Shahram Negari, PhD, PE has a strong educational background in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Shahram first attended Ryerson University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Shahram then went on to pursue their Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the same institution from 2012 to 2015. Following this, they continued their studies at Ryerson University and successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from 2016 to 2020.

In addition to their academic achievements, Shahram has obtained various certifications and professional memberships. Shahram holds the title of Professional Engineer (PE) from the State of California since October 2021. Shahram is also a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Washington. Furthermore, they possess the certification of Professional Electrical Engineer (PE) from the State of Ohio. Shahram is recognized as a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Shahram's commitment to continuous learning is evident through their participation in various industry-specific training programs. Shahram has completed certifications such as "Siemens: Design & Manufacture of Electric Motors" from Siemens, "Substation Design" from Epic Canada, and "VonRoll Electrical Insulation Systems" from Von Roll.
