Melissa H.

Melissa H. has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Melissa started their career as a Pharmacy Coordinator at LBB Industries, Inc. in 1997 and worked there until 2002. Melissa then joined US Script (which later purchased by LBB) as a Pharmacy/Accounts Director from 2002 to 2006. Melissa then moved to USScript/Centene and served as the Director of Client Services from 2006 to 2014.

From 2014 onwards, Melissa has been working at IPM - Integrated Prescription Management. Melissa started as the Director of Specialty Services Division; Pharmacy Operations and held this position until 2018. Melissa then became the SVP of Specialty Services Division from 2018 to 2019. Melissa then took on the role of SVP of Compliance, Strategy & Innovation in 2019, and they are currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer since 2022.

Throughout their career, Melissa has developed a passion for solving problems, increasing productivity, patient access and adherence, and implementing cost containment strategies for both internal and external clients. Melissa has extensive experience in self-funded and government funding, operations, data analytics, account management, and marketing.

After completing high school, Melissa pursued further education at Heritage University in 1997 and 1998, where they earned a Business Degree with a specialization in Business/Computers.

Melissa continued their education at Western International University from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management.

In 2007, Melissa briefly attended Texas Christian University and obtained a certification as a C.Ph.T, which stands for Certified Pharmacy Technician. Melissa further enhanced their Pharmacy Technician credentials in 2008 by obtaining both a Certified Pharmacy Technician certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board and the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.

Melissa then pursued higher education at Amberton University from 2008 to 2013, where they graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Human Relations & Business. Their field of study at Amberton University focused on Business Administration and Management in a general sense.

In addition to their formal education, Melissa has also obtained multiple certifications. In 2008, they became certified in Medication Therapy Management (MTM) through Postgraduate Healthcare Education. This was followed by their certifications as a Pharmacy Technician from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board and the Texas State Board of Pharmacy in 2008 and 2008, respectively.
