Kate Baxter

Kate Baxter is an experienced educator and leader currently serving as the Managing Director of Culture & Climate and Leadership Coach at Integration Charter Schools since July 2023. Previously held roles include High School Principal and Vice Principal at Coney Island Prep, where successful initiatives led to a 60% decrease in dean referrals and an 80% decrease in suspensions within one academic year. Additional experience includes teaching and administrative positions at Uncommon Schools, UNO Charter School Network, Young Women's Leadership Charter School of Chicago, College of Staten Island, Fenton Communications, the University of Maryland, Simon and Schuster, and The Battery Conservancy. Kate Baxter holds an M.Ed. in Secondary Education - English from DePaul University and a B.A. in American Studies from the University of Maryland.
