Alex Laraia

Alex Laraia has a strong background in technology and IT management. Alex started their career in 1992 as an IT&S Specialist at IBM. Alex then worked as a Network Services Specialist at IBM Canada Ltd. before joining CI Investments Inc. in 1994 as the Director of Information Technology Services. Alex spent over a decade at CI Investments before moving to Scotiabank in 2007, where they held the position of Senior IT Management, specializing in infrastructure architecture and project delivery. In 2017, Alex joined Fidelity Canada as the Director of IS, and in 2019 they became the Director of IT at the Canadian Cancer Society. Alex then moved to Paradigm Quest in 2020, where they served as the Director of Technology Support until 2023. Currently, Alex works at Intellifi Corporation as the Director of Technical Support.
