Donald Mackenzie started their work experience in 1993 as a Purchasing Analyst at United Distillers. Donald then moved on to JW Hannay in 1994, where they worked as an Operations Manager. In 1997, they joined Michelin as an HR Business Partner and eventually became the Head of Department - Production. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Project Manager - Accelerate, focusing on rapid transformation and performance improvement. Finally, in 2013, they became the Head of HR at Michelin, where they were responsible for all people matters on-site and led an HR team of 9. Donald is currently the Head of HR at IGS Limited, starting in 2020.
Donald Mackenzie attended the University of St Andrews from 1987 to 1991, where they studied Scottish History. After a gap of almost a decade, they pursued further education at Dundee and Angus College from 2000 to 2001. During this time, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management. Additionally, Donald Mackenzie has acquired two additional certifications. In 2016, they became a Chartered Fellow from the CIPD, and in 2020, they completed a Certificate in Professional Coaching Practice from the International Coaching Federation.
