Steven Collins

Steven Collins has over a decade of experience in environmental management and project oversight, currently serving as Chief of Operations for Suriname at the Inter-American Development Bank since October 2011, where responsibilities include managing project portfolios and coordinating with various stakeholders. Previously held positions include Lead Environmental Specialist and Senior Environmental Specialist at the same institution, where leadership of teams and execution of environmental and social due diligence were key functions. Prior to this, Steven served as Head of the Impact Analysis Team at the Export Credits Guarantee Department, overseeing environmental due diligence processes, and worked as a Project Manager and Environmental Scientist at AEAT. Steven's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Environmental Policy and Management from American Public University and a B.S. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Arizona.
