THE ROLE:

The Client Services Director will oversee the development of new business relationships with directors and board members of prospective clients, to generate significant revenue streams, in a professional but consultative sales manner.

They will carry responsibility for bringing together the company's experience, improving the profile of the practice within the business and raising the bar of business development across all disciplines and teams.

Interbrand is in the fortunate position of generating incoming new business requests and briefs from previously unknown prospects.  This provides Interbrand with a large number of new business opportunities. 

  • Develop, manage and drive the overall client relationship from the initial engagement through contract negotiations
  • Structure and negotiate pricing and close new business based on agreed upon targets and quotas
  • Aggressively promote and advance Interbrand’s services
  • Champion Interbrand’s offerings and identify market opportunities
  • Implement strategies for new business and marketing efforts in consultation with the senior leadership team
  • Lead pitch process, including assessing initial opportunities, collaborating with key internal stakeholders on pitch deliverables, and interfacing with prospective clients
  • Lead the upfront analysis of the client’s business and their identified challenges.
  • Work with our internal marketing team to identify marketing opportunities to generate new leads and actively work leads that are generated from marketing
  • Mentor, grow and maximize the performance of the juniors on the Growth Team

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 10+ years’ experience in a related role and space; we have a broad definition of "related," including any business development, client services, or strategy role in the branding or strategy space or adjacent industry
  • Proven track record of growing new business
  • Confidence in delivering the voice of the company to prospective clients
  • Expert experience in qualification through to lead conversion
  • Confident in working with a team to get to client solutions
  • Resilience and confidence in juggling multiple teams and pitches
  • An enthusiastic work ethic and the ability to collaborate and uncover insights
  • Conceptual thinking, especially the ability to critique and discuss your work as well as the work of others
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint

COMPENSATION:

  • Base salary range of $115K to $125K with a commission structure
  • This range represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of Interbrand in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience; training; associated responsibilities; other business and organizational needs; and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
