Barbara Hswe

Barbara Hswe is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in managing IT operations and support across various organizations. Currently serving as Senior Manager of IT Operations & Support at Intercept Pharmaceuticals since July 2019, Barbara has previously held roles such as Manager of IT Service Desk at USESI and Service Desk Manager at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Notably, Barbara has a strong background in leading enterprise technology support teams, having served as Vice-President of the Enterprise Support Group at Teach For America and overseeing IT infrastructures at Genaissance Pharmaceuticals/Cogenics. Barbara's career began as a Systems Analyst at Casey Family Programs. Barbara holds a BA in Mathematics/Philosophy from Mount Holyoke College and is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Research, Statistics, and Measurement from Southern Connecticut State University.
