Brian Flood (He/Him)

Brian Flood has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Brian is currently the Vice President of Business Systems at Intercom since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Fastly from 2018 to 2022, where they held various leadership positions, including Vice President of IT, Business Systems, & Data, and Senior Director of Business Systems & Data. In these roles, they were responsible for implementing and managing business systems, data warehousing/analytics, and supporting functions such as SOX implementation and M&A integrations. Before that, Brian worked at GitLab, Inc. as a Senior Director of Data & Analytics in 2017. Brian also served as the Head of Business Operations at OpenDNS, part of Cisco, from 2013 to 2017, where they developed and executed strategies to align business systems and analytics with go-to-market strategies. Brian's earlier experience includes roles at UCSF Medical Center and Palo Alto Medical Foundation, where they focused on decision support, business intelligence, and data analysis. Overall, Brian Flood brings a wealth of experience in business systems, data management, analytics, and leadership roles to their current position.

Brian Flood earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Information Systems from San Francisco State University's Lam Family College of Business in 2009. Brian continued their education at the same institution and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Information Technology in 2010.
