Javier Caceres

Javier Caceres has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a General Manager at Bamboo Restaurant from March 2001 to December 2003. During this time, they had 360° responsibility for managing the restaurant and organizing promotional activities. Additionally, they achieved high customer satisfaction and personally handled VIP guests from the entertainment and political sectors.

Javier then moved on to work at North American Pharmacal, where they held two roles. From an Operations and Product Development Manager, they ensured compliance with FDA regulations and managed inventory worth $600K. Javier also played a vital role in improving business processes, identifying new opportunities, and creating a successful Quality Control department. Subsequently, as a Financial Controller, they led front and back office operations, implemented financial management reforms, and significantly increased company revenues. Their tenure at North American Pharmacal spanned from 2003 to 2017.

Starting in 2015, Javier worked as a Controller Consultant at DecisionCFO, where they provided advisory services to startups, particularly in the areas of cybersecurity, SAAS, and crypto. Javier assisted in organizing and managing financial books for different-sized startups until September 2017.

From August 2017 to October 2022, they held two positions at Wyre. As a Financial Controller, they handled financial responsibilities, and later, as the Chief Financial Officer, they played a key role in financial management and strategic decision-making.

In 2022, Javier joined Interim-CFOs as the COO. The company offers outsourced CFO, accounting services, and M&A advisory for startups, focusing on fast-paced and early-stage startups, as well as those working towards Series C funding.

Finally, in November 2022, Javier became a Partner at DecisionCFO, utilizing their extensive expertise in financial management and consulting for startups.

Javier Caceres has a diverse education history. Javier completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Sacred Heart University from 2013 to 2017, with a focus on Business & Accounting. Prior to that, in 2012, they obtained a certificate from NYU Stern School of Business. The field of study for this certificate is not specified.

Earlier in their academic journey, from 2006 to 2008, Javier earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University. Before that, they attended Norwalk Community College from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Business Administration.

Interestingly, during their time at Norwalk Community College, Javier pursued another area of interest and obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Archaeology from 2000 to 2003. It demonstrates their multidisciplinary background.

In addition to their formal degrees, Javier has also obtained certifications to enhance their skills. In 2013, they completed a Business Analytics certification from NYU Stern School of Business.
