Kirstin Austin

Kirstin Austin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in learning and development within government agencies. Currently serving as Chief Learning Officer at the Internal Revenue Service, Kirstin has also held significant roles such as Executive Lead for the Hiring Tactical Operations Team and Chief Learning Officer at the US Government Accountability Office. Previous positions include Deputy Chief Learning and Engagement Officer and Manager of Workforce Development Strategy at the Department of Homeland Security, as well as Associate Director of Total Force Management and Director of Talent and Organizational Development at the Department of Defense. Kirstin holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Literature from American University.
