Preveen Ramamoorthy

Preveen Ramamoorthy is an accomplished biopharmaceutical professional currently serving as Associate Vice President and Deputy Head of Product Development at the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI) since October 2021. With a strong academic background that includes a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Medicine from Clemson University, Preveen has extensive experience in product development and commercialization throughout a diverse career. Prior roles include Chief Scientific Officer at T Therapeutics LLC, Vice President at both iCarbonX and Terumo BCT, and Global Head of Diagnostics at Strand Life Sciences. Preveen has been instrumental in advancing innovative medical technologies and therapies across several organizations, contributing to significant projects including vaccine development and diagnostic solutions. Also, holding a position as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Colorado School of Medicine Denver, Preveen advises on regenerative medicine and precision diagnostics.
