Quality Director - Europe at International Automotive Components

Joanne Onions has extensive work experience, starting in 1993 as an Undergraduate Engineer at Kodak. Joanne then worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at BMW (UK) Manufacturing Ltd from 1996 to 2000. After that, they served as a Launch Manager at Lear Corporation from 1999 to 2000. In 2000, they joined Siemens VDO as a Current Engineering and Change Manager until 2004. From 2004 to 2008, they worked at Magna International as a Programme Manager. Following that, they joined IAC Group, holding roles such as Programme Manager, Senior Programme Manager, Platform Director, and Quality Director from 2008 to 2019. Joanne then became the Head of Quality at YASA from 2019 to 2021. Subsequently, they worked as the Head of Quality at Glen Dimplex Consumer Appliances from 2021 to 2023. Currently, Joanne Onions is the Quality Director - Europe at IAC Group.

Joanne Onions earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School between 2004 and 2012. Prior to that, they studied Manufacturing Systems Engineering with Management, earning a BEng & MEng degree from Nottingham Trent University from 1991 to 1996. In addition to their academic qualifications, Joanne obtained a certification in Automotive IATF 16949:2016 as an IATF 1st & 2nd Party Lead Auditor in 2017.
