Antonio Magallanes Villamor

Antonio Magallanes Villamor, Jr. has a diverse and extensive work experience across various sectors and organizations. Antonio Magallanes began their career as a Senior Associate at PwC in 1994 and worked there until 1999. Antonio Magallanes then joined the United Nations as a Budget and Finance Officer from 1999 to 2001. Following that, they worked as a Finance Controller at the International Rescue Committee from 2002 to 2005. Antonio then held several positions at Mercy Corps, including Director of Finance and Compliance from 2005 to 2008, Director of Internal Audit from 2008 to 2010, and Director of Finance and Compliance from 2010 to 2010. Antonio Magallanes served as the Director of Operations at Tetra Tech DPK from 2010 to 2013 and as an Internal Audit Expert for Coffey International in 2013. Antonio also worked as a Consultant/Finance Manager Specialist at ICARDA from 2013 to 2014 before assuming their current role as the Head of the Internal Audit Unit at ICARDA in 2014. In this position, they provide functional leadership, conducts audits, and is involved in reviewing information technology governance, ERP migration and implementation, and cybersecurity management.

Antonio Magallanes Villamor, Jr.'s education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, obtained from 1988 to 1994. Antonio Magallanes is currently pursuing an MSc in Cybersecurity at the European University Cyprus, which is expected to be completed between 2021 and 2024.
