Brett Edwards

Brett Edwards is a seasoned consultant and educator with extensive experience in law, nonprofit management, and international relations. Currently serving as a consultant at Ponderosa Strategies since August 2022, Brett focuses on maximizing social impact through strategic guidance in international law, human rights, and public policy for various nonprofit organizations. In addition, Brett is an adjunct professor at Carroll College and a senior peace fellow at the Public International Law & Policy Group, where responsibilities include overseeing a $15 million pro bono program. Previous roles include vice president and executive vice president at PILPG, and involvement with the United Nations' Department of Economic and Social Affairs. Brett holds a JD from American University Washington College of Law, an MA in International Relations and Affairs from American University School of International Service, and a BA in Diplomacy & World Affairs from Occidental College.
