Leonardo Sacamos Jr

Leonardo Sacamos Jr has a extensive and varied work experience in the field of IT and operations management. Leonardo started their career as a Programmer Trainee at Computer Information Systems, Inc. and went on to hold roles such as Jr. Operations Analyst, Sr. Operations Analyst, Systems & Database Administrator, and Project Manager within the same company.

In 1997, Sacamos Jr joined Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation as the IT Operations and Telecoms Manager, where they were responsible for setting up IT and telecommunications infrastructure and managing IT operations and support.

Leonardo then moved on to CEMEX, where they held various leadership positions including IT Manager, Asia IT Director, IT Director for Egypt, and Processes & IT Leader for Post Merger Integration in Australia. At CEMEX, they played a key role in leading the organization's transformation efforts, implementing SAP, developing and executing information security strategies, and consolidating services in the Philippines.

After their stint at CEMEX, Sacamos Jr joined SunPower Corporation as the Sr. Director of IT Operations, where they managed IT operations and oversaw the IT infrastructure for the company.

Leonardo'smost recent role was as the Global Director of IT Infrastructure at International Container Terminal Services, Inc., where they were responsible for managing the global IT infrastructure.

Leonardo Sacamos Jr has a diverse education background. Leonardo completed the International Management Program at IPADE Business School in Ft. Lauderdale, USA, earning a degree in International Management in 2001. Prior to that, they received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Ateneo de Manila University from 1987 to 1991. Leonardo also attended Ateneo de Davao University for both their High School and Elementary School education. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including being a Licensed Massage Therapist from the Department of Health, Republic of the Philippines in 2011, a 3rd Dan Judo Black Belt from the International Judo Federation in 1997, and a Philippine Civil Service certification from the Republic of the Philippines in 1991.
