Ulrich Eberle is an experienced professional in the fields of climate, environment, and conflict, currently serving as the Director of the Climate, Environment and Conflict Project at the International Crisis Group since July 2022. Prior to this role, Eberle worked as a Senior Analyst and Lead for the same project at Princeton University, where Eberle was also a Future of Conflict Postdoctoral Fellow. Eberle's academic background includes a PhD in Economics from HEC Lausanne, with further studies at The London School of Economics and Political Science, University College London, and the University of Zurich. Eberle has held research positions at institutions such as LSE, the University of Lausanne, and the University of Copenhagen.
