Principal Food Technologist at IFF

Amber Merritt has extensive experience in the food technology sector, particularly in beverage applications and development. Currently serving as Principal Food Technologist and previously as Senior Beverage Technologist at International Flavors & Fragrances since April 2005, Amber specializes in carbonated, still, juice, sparkling, coffee, and tea beverages. Prior roles include Food Technologist at Firmenich from 2001 to 2005, focusing on beverage applications, and Jr Food Technologist at Chr. Hansen A/S from 1999 to 2001, working on beverage and sweet applications. Amber began in the industry as an intern at IFF from 1997 to 1999, contributing to Beverage, Savory, and Sweet Goods projects. Amber holds a degree in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University, completed in 1998.
