Florian Nettesheim

Florian Nettesheim is a Principal Scientist at International Flavors & Fragrances, where tenure began in February 2021. Previously, Florian served as a Systems Scientist in DuPont's Nutrition & Health R&D group from December 2007 to February 2021, focusing on polymer melts and rheological techniques. Florian also held the position of Competency Leader of Rheology within Central Corporate Analytical Sciences at DuPont. Academic experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Delaware from 2004 to 2007, researching wormlike micellar phases, and a PhD in Chemistry from Kiel University, complemented by graduate studies and internships at the University of Kiel, University of Lund, and the Institute Laue-Langevin.
