Deborah Acree has a diverse work experience. Deborah started their career as an Office Manager at Schewel Furniture Co., Inc. where they were responsible for financial reporting, purchasing, inventory management, and accounts payable. Deborah then worked at Wachovia Corp as a Fraud Analyst, conducting investigations and leading the team for a system implementation. Deborah then joined Freedom First Credit Union as an Accounts Payable and Risk Management Specialist. Deborah later joined Magic City Auto Group as an Accounts Payable Coordinator. Deborah's next role was at Advance Auto Parts, where they worked as a HR/Payroll Specialist, Garnishment Coordinator, and eventually as a Workday HRIS Analyst. Their most recent position was at SpartanNash, where they served as a Senior Workday Analyst, leading functional configuration for various HR modules and providing secondary support for Talent, Performance, and Recruiting. Deborah is currently employed at International Justice Mission as a Sr. Lead, Workday HRIS.
Deborah Acree attended Liberty University from 2012 to 2016, where they studied Accounting and Finance. Prior to that, they attended Southside Virginia Community College from 1999 to 2001, focusing on Criminal Justice and Corrections. Deborah also completed their high school education at Brunswick High School, where they earned a High School Diploma between 1997 and 2000. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in various Workday Pro modules, including Talent & Performance, Benefits, HCM, and Learning, in the year 2022.
