Justin Bennett

Justin Bennett has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Most recently, they served as the Lead for Media & Communications, North America at International Justice Mission, where they managed sensitive information and supported the organization's global communications efforts. Prior to that, they worked as the Press Secretary at the Louisiana Workforce Commission, overseeing communication campaigns and media relations initiatives. Justin also held positions at the New York City Emergency Management Department, where they served as a Senior Press Officer and later as a Press Assistant, contributing to emergency response communication, community engagement, and social media promotion. Earlier in their career, Justin worked as an English Instructor at ELS Educational Services, Inc., focusing on creating a collaborative and inclusive learning environment. Justin also gained experience as a Freelance Journalist, researching, investigating, and reporting on various topics and news events.

Justin Bennett has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Washington. Justin also has additional certifications including an Emergency Management Certificate Program from the New York City Emergency Management Department in 2016 and a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) from the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations in 2013.
