Leonid Mats

Assistant Kiteboarding Instructor at International Kiteboarding Organization - IKO

Leonid Mats is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in RF ASIC design and low power circuit architecture. Currently serving as VP of Engineering and Chief Scientist at Tego, Inc. since October 2007, Leonid leads initiatives in RF and analog mixed-signal design. Concurrently, Leonid contributes as an Assistant Kiteboarding Instructor for the International Kiteboarding Organization since May 2019. Previous roles include Research Associate at the University of Pittsburgh, where research focused on passive RF devices and antenna design, consulting for Supply Systems Inc. on antenna design and conducting polymers, and positions at Neolinear, Inc. as a Software Engineer where high-frequency CMOS device development was a focus. Additionally, Leonid was VP of Software Development at MedCom Solutions, Inc., leading business software design and implementation. Leonid holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
