Jacqueline Uwimana

Jacqueline Uwimana is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in gender-based violence (GBV) and protection program coordination. Currently serving as the GBV Coordinator and GBV & Empowerment Consortium Coordinator at International Medical Corps since April 2022, Jacqueline has a robust history in various leadership roles related to GBV, having worked as a General Program Coordinator at Projet Nengo and as a Protection Manager at the Danish Refugee Council. Previous positions at International Medical Corps include GBV Technical Coordinator, GBV Program & Site Manager, and GBV Specialist. Jacqueline's expertise is further supported by qualifications that include a Master's degree in Gender and Development from Université Catholique de Louvain and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Université Libre de Bruxelles.
