John Hafner

Vice President, Seafarer Manning & Training at International Registries

John Hafner has over 30 years of work experience. From 2010 to present, they have been a Vice President at International Registries, Inc., where they oversee seafarer manning and training. Prior to that, from 1986 to 2016, they served as a Captain in the US Navy Reserve. Additionally, from 1986 to 2010, they were a National Executive Board Member and Merchant Marine Officer at American Maritime Officers.

John Hafner obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marine Transportation Management from the State University of New York Maritime College from 1982 to 1986. Later, from 2006 to 2009, they attended Cornell University's Industrial Labor Relations School, although it is not specified if they completed a degree program there.
