Owen Palmiotti

Vice President, Seafarers' Documentation At International Registries, Inc. at International Registries

Owen Palmiotti has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Owen currently serves as a board member for the Virginia Production Alliance since 2024. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President of Seafarers' Documentation at International Registries, Inc. from 2014 onwards. In 2020, they co-founded the Loudoun Arts Film Festival and held the role of Director of Business Development. Before that, they established their own production company, Owen Palmiotti Productions, LLC, in 2018, where they worked as an Author, Screenwriter, and Filmmaker. Owen also has a background in the US Navy Reserves as a Strategic Sealift Officer from 2007 to 2016. Owen served as a lecturer at SUNY Maritime College from 2009 to 2014, teaching various navigation courses and also worked as a Third Officer with the Military Sealift Command from 2007 to 2008.

Owen Palmiotti completed their undergraduate studies at SUNY Maritime College from 2003 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Transportation and International Business and Naval Science. Additionally, they pursued a Masters of Science in International Trade Management at the State University of New York Maritime College.
