Valerie Dowling

Director, Private Sector Engagement at International Republican Institute

Valerie Dowling has a diverse work experience in various political and non-profit organizations. Valerie began their career in 2007 at The White House, working in the Office of Presidential Correspondence. In 2008, they moved to the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs as a Staff Assistant. In 2009, they joined the National Federation of Republican Women as a Political Director, a role they held until 2012. During the 2012 presidential campaign, Dowling worked as the Pennsylvania Coalitions Director for Romney for President. From 2013 to 2016, they served as the Director of Women's Programs at the Office of the Co-Chairman of the Republican National Committee. Currently, Dowling is employed at the International Republican Institute, where they have held the positions of Director of Women's Democracy Network and Director of Private Sector Engagement since 2016.

Valerie Dowling holds a BA degree in Politics and History from Converse University.
