Marissa Mabanag

Marissa Mabanag is a dedicated professional with a strong background in community engagement, marketing, and educational support. Currently serving as a Community Engagement Intern at the International Rescue Committee, Marissa has conducted interviews to enhance diversity in candidate selection, represented the organization at events, and helped develop a program connecting local volunteers with refugee clients. As an Illustrator Customer Advisory Board Member for Adobe, Marissa contributed to branding projects and provided feedback for platform improvement. Marissa also holds the position of Marketing Coordinator at both Mimosa by Airspan and Airspan Networks, where extensive coordination of international trade shows has taken place. Additionally, Marissa has experience as a Residential Advisor at the University of San Francisco, fostering inclusive environments and organizing events for residents, and previously assisted students as a Teacher Assistant. Marissa is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies with a Fine Arts minor at the University of San Francisco.
