Kathryn Firebrace

Kathryn Firebrace has extensive experience in the education sector. Kathryn has held various roles throughout their career, starting in 1995 at Avoca West Elementary School in Chicago as a Teacher. In 2002, they joined ACS International Schools and worked as a First Grade Teacher. Kathryn then worked as a Nutritionist at True You from 2007 to 2010. Kathryn then returned to ACS International Schools and held positions such as Team Leader for 2nd and 3rd Grades, as well as an EAL Teacher. Kathryn later moved to ACS International Schools' Cobham Campus where they served as an Assistant Principal. In 2018, they became the Principal and Head of Primary at the International School of London.

Kathryn Firebrace has a diverse education history, spanning from 1987 to 2019. Kathryn completed their high school education at Glenbrook South High School between 1987 and 1991, although the specific degree or field of study is unknown. Following high school, they attended Miami University from 1991 to 1995, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Teaching.

In order to further their educational expertise, Kathryn Firebrace pursued a PTC Certificate of International School Leadership at the Principal Training Centre (PTC) from 1995 to 2019. This program focused on Educational Leadership and Administration, providing their with the knowledge and skills necessary for a leadership role in an international school setting.

Additionally, Kathryn Firebrace has obtained relevant certifications to complement their education. In 2007, they completed a Holistic Nutritionist Certification from Columbia University in the City of New York. This certification indicates their knowledge in the field of holistic nutrition and its applications for overall well-being. Furthermore, in 2018, they obtained an International Leadership Certification from the Principals Training Centre, further enhancing their leadership capabilities in an international school context.
