Ismael Arribas

Ismael Arribas is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in blockchain and distributed ledger technologies. As a cofounding member and cochair for the Standards Committee at INATBA since April 2019, Ismael has been instrumental in developing international standards in the blockchain sector. Current roles include serving as a member of the Panel 2021 for the EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum, vice-chairman at WG2 in Metaverse for the International Telecommunication Union, and accredited expert for CEN and CENELEC. Ismael also holds the position of Spanish expert and vice president at the CTN071/SC307 ISO Committee for Blockchain and DLT, while managing Kunfud®, an international security mercantile agency. Previous experience includes a technical team role at Universidad de Valladolid and a strategic business unit position at Citigroup. Education was completed at Universidad de Valladolid and Nuestra Señora de Lourdes in Valladolid.
