The Internet Society (ISOC) has engaged Egon Zehnder to lead the search for our Executive Vice President (EVP) and Managing Director position at the Internet Society.

Role Summary:

• The EVP and Managing Director, reporting to the CEO is responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the Internet Society organization, including the effective administration of operations and correct and timely reporting to the CEO, board, and community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for achieving the annual plans as approved by the board.
• Leads the organization in carrying out its mission and plans.
• Overall responsibility for staffing of the organization and for the overall performance of the staff.
• Responsible for developing annual plans in consultation with the CEO.
• Responsible for the internal operations and programs of the organization including Finance, Human Resources, and Legal to ensure successful delivery of mission and plans.
