Nurul Islam Chowdhury

Nurul Islam Chowdhury is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in leading IT operations across multiple countries. Currently serving as the Head of IT for Intertek in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Mauritius since May 2006, Nurul is responsible for overseeing all IT operations, driving innovation, and optimizing technology investments to enhance business value and competitive advantage. Previous roles within Intertek include Senior Manager and Manager, where responsibilities included spearheading local IT initiatives and managing comprehensive IT infrastructures. Earlier career highlights include positions at Digital Architects Limited as a System/LAN Manager and at Dhaka Broadband Network Ltd. as a System Support Engineer, showcasing strong expertise in network management and technical support. Nurul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from National University, Bangladesh, and a B.Sc Hons in Computer Science from Dhaka City College.
