Alex Lindell

Alex Lindell has a varied and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. In 1997, they worked as a Sales Manager at VLSI Vision Ltd. Alex then moved on to Concentric Network Corporation, where they held the position of Account Executive from 1998 to 1999. After that, Alex joined Ensim as an Account Executive and Product Manager from 1999 to 2001.

In 2002, they ventured into the field of venture capital as a Venture Associate at University Venture Fund. Alex then transitioned to Lineagen, where they held multiple roles, including Manager of Business Development from 2003 to 2005, Corporate Development Manager from 2006 to 2008, Director of Product Management from 2008 to 2010, and eventually Senior Director of Product Management from 2010 to 2012.

After Lineagen, Alex joined Illumina in 2012, where they held various positions such as Senior Manager of Product Marketing from 2012 to 2014, Senior Manager of Market Development from 2014 to 2015, Associate Director of Market Development from 2015 to 2018, Associate Director of Healthcare Systems Marketing from 2018 to 2019, Associate Director of Segment Marketing for Genetic Disease Testing from 2020 to 2020, and finally Director of Genetic Disease Marketing from 2020 to 2021.

In 2021, Alex's career continued to progress, starting with TwinStrand Biosciences, where they served as the Head of Marketing from February to October. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Product, Wetware at InterVenn Biosciences, a role they have held since December 2021.

Alex Lindell received a Bachelor's degree in Genetics and Cell Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland, from 1993 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance and Financial Management Services from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business, from 2002 to 2004.
