Laurie Bailey

Laurie Bailey brings 20+ years of clinical direction and surgery center administration experience to centers to ASC locations. She began her career as a Registered Nurse in the peri-operative arena. Soon after realizing she thrived in the unique pace and challenges common to the ambulatory surgery center sector, she also obtained Board Certification in Ambulatory Surgery Center Administration (CASC) and Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR).

Laurie has coordinated multiple ambulatory surgery center startup ventures, and has become particularly well-versed with AAAHC, TDH, JCAHO, CMS, HIPPA, OSHA and DNV standards and regulations as they pertain to ASC governance. She excels working alongside physicians, through mergers, and within larger surgery center corporate environments such as USPI and HCA. Laurie was USPI’s 2013 Recipient for Excellence in Patient Safety. She contributes to successful recruitment and retention of employees and physicians, building winning teams devoted to high efficiency and best practices of the ASC industry. Her record demonstrates high success in leading teams through AAAHC, TDH, and CMS surveys, empowering physicians and staff to provide excellence in healthcare.
