Sam Smart

Sam Smart has a diverse work experience in the field of technology, with a focus on networking and sales engineering. They started their career in 2001 as a Senior Network Engineer/Consultant at LaserShift, where they were responsible for designing and engineering Optical Cross Connect Centers. They then joined Cingular Wireless LLC as a Senior Operations Engineer, managing the operational support and configuration of the GPRS network.

In 2007, Sam joined Carousel Industries as a Southeast Regional Sales Engineer, supporting sales of data technologies and network solutions in the Southeast region. They were responsible for developing channel relationships and driving sales. Sam continued their sales engineering career at ADTRAN from 2011 to 2015, where they focused on converged voice and data networks, managing regional sales support and channel engineering relationships.

Moving forward, Sam worked at Infoblox as a Major Accounts Sr. Sales Engineer and at Samsung Electronics America as a Sr Technical Account Manager. They then joined APCON as a Solutions Architect before transitioning to Black Box as a WiFi Solutions Architect.

Currently, Sam is working at InterVision Systems as a Sr Wireless Engineer. Overall, Sam has gained extensive experience in sales engineering, network design, and network operations throughout their career.

Sam Smart attended American InterContinental University from 2002 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology. In addition, Sam Smart has obtained certifications such as the Mist WiFi Certification from Juniper Networks in June 2021 and the HPE Sales Certified - Aruba Products and Solutions from Hewlett Packard Enterprise in February 2021.
